Christiane Manzella, PhD is a seasoned clinician and professor of psychology at NYU with expertise in grief, bereavement, and trauma. At Seleni, Dr. Manzella provides therapy, training, and supervision, supporting individuals and families through perinatal loss, fertility challenges, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She incorporates mindfulness-based interventions developed through her research and international consulting. Dr. Manzella holds a master’s in clinical psychology and a doctorate in counseling psychology from NYU.

American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed Complex Conversations in Healthcare and deemed it acceptable for up to 2.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 02/17/2025 to 02/17/2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.

DONA International

This continuing education training can be utilized for DONA International recertification requirements and is approved for two CEUs for doulas.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC)
