Learn to understand the types and timing of perinatal loss and their emotional implications

This course is designed to equip mental health and healthcare professionals with the clinical insight, cultural sensitivity, and communication tools necessary to provide compassionate and effective care to individuals and families navigating these complex and painful experiences.

Participants will learn to differentiate between normal and complicated grief, understand the psychological and physiological impact of perinatal loss, and provide trauma-informed support grounded in best practices. The training also explores how personal beliefs, provider bias, and systemic inequities can shape the care individuals receive during these critical moments.

"This course was really supportive to the perinatal losses and IVF infertility challenges my clients suffer with. It was delivered well, addressed the topics, and provided great practical ways to model and be with clients experiencing grief."
